Originally from San Diego, California, Lauren is a transplant Texan who has been here for nearly 14 years. Lauren is an alumna of Texas State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Innovation (DMI) with a minor in Media Studies.
Currently, Lauren is the Publicity and Recruitment Coordinator for Texas State University's Department of Theatre and Dance and a freelance contractor for the Northeast Independent School District (NEISD).

Lauren graduated amidst the pandemic in 2020. Despite attending her last semester online, Lauren graduated early in three years with a 4.0 GPA and multiple academic and leadership honors. Lauren worked at the on-campus radio station and was a member of numerous honor and leadership societies.

Through press releases, graphic design, social media, and other community outreach, Lauren annually promotes the 8-10 shows that Texas State Theatre and Dance puts on. Lauren successfully transitioned the department to a new website design and continues to keep it up to date. Lauren works closely with each program's faculty to meet their recruiting needs. Primarily she focuses on coordinating auditions and callbacks for the BFA Acting and Musical Theatre programs.

Lauren works closely with the Directors and Booster Club to promote the 5-8 shows that Reagan Stage puts on each year. She creates posters, programs, and other graphic materials and takes photos of each production for archival purposes.

Lauren was responsible for maintaining the dual social media accounts of the nonprofit. She created numerous posts and campaigns to reach the hiring gap of young adults in the Kansas City area. Additionally, she assisted in facilitating the foundation's websites by updating and creating pages. Lauren worked with the nonprofit until its closure in May 2021.

Lauren was responsible for maintaining the social media accounts of these upstart companies. She created numerous posts and campaigns to reach potential clients. Additionally, she assisted in the creation of brand guidelines and websites for these endeavors.
KTSW 89.9 -FM Web Content
Lauren started at the radio station as a Content Contributor and Editor. Weekly she wrote and edited weekly articles for AP style, punctuation, grammar, and usage. After only a semester, she became Assistant Web Content Manager before becoming Web Content Manager in her final year of college. Lauren served as Web Content Manager from 2019 to her graduation in May 2020. She was responsible for managing and maintaining the KTSW blog, training volunteer staff members, writing articles, editing content across departments, scheduling posts, and performing administrative tasks for the station.
